Military School Chapter 11. Tragic
Duncan was doing well in war. But because he had to protect Courtney. Then a boy ran up to him and hulled him down luckily the boy was unarmed.
“GIVE US THE GIRL!” he yelled.
“No way I’m giving up my girlfriend!” Duncan yelled back. The boy smiled. And signaled to his friend to shot for the wall above with his cannon. The boy ran off. And the cannon was shot. The wall landed right on top of Duncan. The boy told the general of their team who they killed and the other school headed off. Eva went over to Duncan and looked for a pulse. There was a vary low one. She told the girls who worked in the infirmary who he was and they took him immediately. Then she went to get Courtney out of her hiding spot.
“Thanks Eva where’s Duncan?” she asked getting up. Eva just frowned and looked away. “Eva, where’s Duncan.” She asked again getting worried. Then her step dad came in. “Eva where is he?” she now had tears in her eyes.
“Courtney honey a wall fell on Duncan he’s in the infirmary.” The general said sadly. Courtney burst into tears and ran to her room it was the wall that fell on Duncan so she saw a cannon ball in the middle of her room. Her bed was destroyed. She looked out the hole and saw a puddle of crimson blood under some rocks and bricks. She fell to the floor crying.
“I’m going to lose him again only this time I know I’ll never see him again.” She said as she cried. Then Heather came in and sat next to her.
“I’m sorry about Duncan he may make it though.” She said in a real sweet voice.
“Why do you care?” Courtney asked but was too sad to say it coldly.  
“I just do. I’ll leave now if you want.”
Courtney nodded and Heather left her alone.
